The sweetest family of three photographed in their South Philly neighborhood. It was a gorgeous late spring day and Maiella had a blast exploring with her parents. We smelled some flowers, explored the murals, and I was able to catch some big smiles and giggles. This little mini session was the perfect amount of time to capture all of the love in this family.
It’s that time of year again! Pumpkins and colorful leaves, sweaters and hot cider….and mini-sessions! This is my absolute favorite time of year for all of those reasons but also because I get to see all my regular families and get to meet new ones as well.
This year we’re going back to Tyler State Park in Newtown (one of our favorite spots to shoot) and are looking forward to capturing some beautiful fall colors, maybe a sprawling field and possibly even a creek. It’s going to be so much fun! Here are the details:

We caught the sunset at the perfect time at Valley Forge Park and it cast a gorgeous glow over this entire family session. We’ve been photographing the Morris family for a few years now and it had been so fun to watch their family grown. These sisters are adorable and had the biggest smiles for me!
Funny story about this shoot…The morning of the session I get an email saying that Tyler had an accident while playing soccer the night before and spent the night at the hospital getting stitches in his forehead! He had a HUGE gash right in between his eyes. We decided to go for it, continue with the shoot and luckily it was in a spot that was super easy to photoshop. We left a couple shots of him with the gash so they don’t forget ;) but everything turned out great. While we don’t love relying on photoshop for editing, it does come in handy when accidents happen!
This sweet little mini session at Core Creek Park in Langhorne, Bucks County, PA with the Hansen family was so fun! It was a quick session but I got SO MANY smiles from little Norah! She is such a happy little one and is really to walk at any moment! Check out how much she’s grown since our Fall mini Session last year!
The Hammer Family's beautiful warm, sunny lifestyle session at Valley Forge Park was so fun. We've been photographing Kris and Bryanna since their wedding and just love seeing their family grow. Their two girls were absolutely adorable, so fun to shoot, and loved adventuring through Valley Forge! It was such a perfect summer session, here are some of our favorites.
We were so thrilled when the Hansens wanted us to shoot their growing family. What a wonderful couple and their sweet little girl couldn’t have been any more adorable or well behaved! It was so windy and chilly that day and she was all smiles :)
Here is another one from our fall mini lifestyle sessions and I have to say, this sweet cutie-pie pup, Carson, was the MOST well behaved dog I think I’ve ever met. He has such personality and pretty much stole our hearts. We were so happy to see Alana and Manny again after they’re amazing engagement session in upstate NY and their beautiful wedding at the Tyler Arboretum. I hope we get to see more of them in the future!
Continuing with our mini sessions from this past fall, here is the Kelly family. Not only are they a super sweet family, they are also our neighbors and our kids love to play together! I think our boys were a little bummed that we got to hang out with the Kellys without them. 😉
This past fall we offered mini lifestyle sessions for the first time and were so so happy with how everything worked out. Despite the chilly and windy day, it was beautiful at Tyler State Park in Bucks County, PA. Our families were so wonderful to work with and we captured some really great moments. The fall leaves were perfect during the Morris families lifestyle session! It was a beautiful glowing November afternoon and the Morris’ were so fun to capture. Valley Forge National Park was the perfect location to capture the amazing east coast leaves. We just love this session so much!
We were so fortunate to capture Jon and Diane's amazing wedding at the beautiful Core Creek Park in Newtown, PA a while back and then again when their son was born. We couldn't WAIT to meet their new little girl and spend some more time with them. We always feel so at home and just love documenting their beautiful family.
